Lance R. Macey, MD
Lance R. Macey, MD is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. His clinical interests include total joint replacement of the hip & knee, conditions of the foot and ankle including reconstructive foot surgery, and arthroscopy of the shoulder, knee & ankle.
Dr. Macey graduated medical school from Dartmouth Medical School, Hanover, New Hampshire. He interned at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Hanover, New Hampshire and completed his residency at the University of Connecticut, Farmington, Connecticut. He completed two fellowships, the first in lower extremities and foot andankle reconstruction at the University of Washington, Harborview Medical Center, Seattle, Washington, and the second in bone and fracture healing at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Macey is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Academy of Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgeons (AAOFAS), and the Eastern Orthopedic Association.

Robert works closely with Dr. Macey and may see you before and after surgery. He is board certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. Robert completed his master’s program at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Manchester, New Hampshire.ac
Stephanie F., Physician & Surgery Coordinator
If you are having surgery, Stephanie will be your primary contact from the time Dr. Macey recommends surgery through your first post-operative visit. She will schedule both your surgery and any pre-operative tests you need.
Computer Assisted Surgery
Dr. Macey is trained in a special surgical technique called Computer Assisted Surgery (CAS) for his total knee replacement procedures. CAS uses a state-of-the-art device and unique software to get the perfect fit and alignment for the hardware being placed into your new knee. The device is used during surgery with the aid of a computer; making it easier to obtain the correct angles for your knee to function properly after surgery.
