John T. Lynn II, MD
Dr. Lynn is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Society and the New Hampshire Medical Society. He has also been named to the Best Doctors.
After graduating from the University of Colorado, Dr. Lynn attended medical school in his home state of Michigan at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his 5 year residency at Henry Ford Hospital, a 1,000 bed tertiary care hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center in Detroit, Michigan, During his residency Dr. Lynn assisted in providing orthopaedic coverage for the Detroit Red Wings, Lions and
Tigers as well as many college and high school athletes.
Dr. Lynn performed an elective rotation in Joint Replacement/Reconstructive Surgery at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, the premier hospital for joint replacement surgery. He was selected for additional training at New England Baptist Hospital following completion of his orthopaedic residency.
Dr. Lynn began a solo practice of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1985 with offices in Nashua, Derry and Haverhill. He has performed arthroscopic surgery for problems of the knee and shoulder throughout his career as he has cared for his patients, many of them athletes.
Following his specialized training at New England Baptist Hospital, Dr. Lynn has performed hip and knee replacement surgery since 1985, and continually strives to provide quality joint replacement surgery to his patients. He was the first Orthopaedic Surgeon in Nashua, NH to perform Direct Anterior Hip Replacements and he is trained and certified in Oxford partial knee replacement surgery.
Continuing his commitment to giving back to the community, Dr. Lynn began providing free student athlete pre-sports physicals starting in 1986. In addition he provided football game coverage for Londonderry and Bishop Guertin high schools and was awarded the Larry Elliot Memorial Award for service to the athlete from Bishop Guertin in 1990.
Dr. Lynn is proud to be part of a practice that has now grown to 21 Orthopaedic Surgeons providing high quality care to New Hampshire with offices in Nashua, Manchester, Londonderry, Salem and Milford/Amherst.
Dr. Lynn enjoys spending time with his three sons and two grandsons. When not working he can be found traveling, fishing, hunting, scuba diving or bicycling.
