Douglas M. Joseph, MD
Douglas M. Joseph, MD is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He specializes in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement, partial knee replacements, and revision hip and knee replacement surgery. In addition, he specializes in arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder for torn meniscus, ligaments and rotator cuff.
Dr. Joseph graduated medical school from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky. He did his internship and residency at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, New York. He completed a fellowship in Knee Replacement and Sports Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery, Cornell Medical Center, New York, New York.
Dr. Joseph is a member of the International Congress of Joint Reconstruction, the American Association of Hip & Knee Surgeons, the American Association of Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the NH Orthopedic Society and Leading Physicians of the World.
Dr. Joseph was voted Top Orthopedic Surgeon by New Hampshire Magazine by 2003, 2008, 2010, and 2011. He is one of the few orthopaedic surgeons in the state to work with the Zimmer Gender Solutions ™ knee, which is designed to fit a woman’s anatomy.
